This is the tune that embraces those effects and techniques that I’ve typically avoided. Having played guitar for so long, to abandon the bass line is a challenge, it’s something that is core to my creation of music.
Effects wise, the flanger/chorus is what gives the first part it’s hum, it’s turned way up. When the split happens, it’s the Grain Shifter with the speed and balance turned up beyond what I’d ever consider reasonable.
But, this project was about expanding horizons, so, rather explore than fall back into what is known and routine.
